Receiving and Inventory Supervisor

Location: Miami, FL
Salary: Based on experience

Gaumard Scientific Company, a world leader in health care simulation products, is looking for a Receiving and Inventory Supervisor to join our team in Miami, FL. Gaumard has manufactured and marketed simulators for health care education for more than 60 years.

Users worldwide – the military, emergency medical services, major teaching hospitals and nursing schools – recognize Gaumard products for their innovation in simulation in the pre-hospital, obstetrics and gynecology, surgical and nursing care segments. In 2000, Gaumard launched the revolutionary family of NOELLE® maternal and neonatal care simulators that changed the way training is conducted. In 2004, Gaumard pioneered the use of fully tetherless technology with the introduction of the family of HAL® simulators. In 2014, the company introduced Victoria™, its most advanced, mobile maternal/fetal simulator as part of the NOELLE family.

Gaumard manufactures its products at its world headquarters in Miami. The company sells simulators through its own representatives in North America and through 200 distributors in 70 countries.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive shipments and verify contents according to invoices in company SAP system
  • Perform and manage administrative support of receiving and inventory
  • Assist team in unloading shipments
  • Work with suppliers and purchasing if mistakes are identified
  • Maintain accurate records and supervise inventory control
  • QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Excellent written and verbal skills; bilingual English/Spanish
  • 3+ years experience in receiving and inventory control
  • ERP experience
  • Experience with physical inventory and cycle counting
  • Barcoding experience a plus
  • Able to follow detailed written and oral instructions
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently

Graphic Designer

Gaumard Scientific Company, a world leader in health care simulation products, is currently looking for a Graphic Designer. Gaumard has manufactured and marketed simulators for health care education for more than 60 years. Users worldwide – the military, emergency medical services, major teaching hospitals and nursing schools – recognize Gaumard products for their innovation in simulation in the pre-hospital, obstetrics and gynecology, surgical and nursing care segments. The successful candidate will be detail oriented, strongly organized and possess excellent design skills. This person will have experience with graphic design and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. Must be fluent in graphic applications including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Must be able to work with multiple projects and be able to perform within tight deadlines, have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment and acquire new skills. This is an in-house position.
  • Portfolio of representative work will be required.
  • Coordinates all aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production. Ensures that all parties are informed of and meet deadlines.
  • Prepares layouts, designs, art work and formats for use in publication
  • Layout and scale photos, marking them for proper screen values for print reproduction
  • Designs, lays out, and produces artwork that reflects company strategy and brand
  • Responsible for brainstorming new creative concepts and designs
  • Maintains an advanced knowledge of software used for creating graphic designs and trends within design
  • Skills:
  • Strong skills in Adobe CS5 Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Expert level Photo retouching
  • Strong attention to detail and well organized
  • Willingness to receive guidance and direction

  • Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field

Technical Support Representative

Gaumard Scientific, a leading innovator in the design, development and manufacture of medical simulators for healthcare education, has an immediate opening for a full-time Technical Support Representative at our Miami, Florida headquarters. The Technical Support team is a multidisciplinary and talented group, so you must be a team player, with excellent communication skills, who works well with others. You must be able to communicate with and provide support for medical professionals both domestically and internationally. Finally, you must be able to establish and meet realistic deadlines.
  • Responsibilities for this key position include:
  • Respond to email, phone calls and other requests for techinical support for a variety of medical simulation products
  • Documents, tracks and monitors issue to ensure resolution
  • Training customers via phone, webex or classroom on use of medical simulators
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in BioMedical engineering, nursing or the sciences
  • Experience with workstation software and hardware installation, upgrades, and repairs.
  • Experienced with: Windows 95/98/2000/XP, MS NT server, MS SQL, MS Exchange, MS Outlook, MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  • Any clinical experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bilingual english and any other language a plus

SAP Support Specialist

  • Perform SAP maintenance tasks such as validating business partners, items and discount schedules
  • Provide technical support to internal SAP users
  • Troubleshoot user errors
  • Performing user training

  • Create SAP Best Practices newsletter
  • Develop on demand reports for Sales, Accounting and Costumer Service
  • Work with marketing to take and upload item pictures to every item in SAP

  • Qualifications:
  • Some college education preferred; High School diploma required.
  • Computer skills (MS Office); ERP system experience a plus.
  • Crystal Reports experience a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years Customer Service and/or data input experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Must be able to work 8a-4:30p EST, Monday through Friday.

Software Engineer

Gaumard Scientific Company, a world leader in health care simulation products, is looking for a Software Engineer to join the growing team in Miami. Gaumard has manufactured and marketed simulators for health care education for more than 60 years.
  • Duties Include:
  • Develop, prototype and build next generation medical simulation software and hardware programs
  • Work closely with the team to develop and design products
  • Participate in group brainstorming sessions to create novel software applications
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Gaming, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with C/C++/C#/Objective C or Java
  • Intermediate-level expertise and experience working in Maya, Blender, or 3ds Max
  • Intermediate-level expertise and experience working in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
  • Programming and/or scripting experience
  • Experience with the latest mixed reality hardware (HoloLens, Leap Motion, Vive/Rift/PSVR/Daydream) a plus
  • Amazing attention to detail, self-motivated and collaborative
  • Passion for creating new, innovative, and ground-breaking user experiences

Manufacturing Engineer- Technician

Gaumard Scientific Company, a world leader in health care simulation products, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer- Technician to join our team in Miami. Gaumard has manufactured and marketed simulators for health care education for more than 60 years.
  • Responsibilities
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers with creating, modifying, and archiving detailed work instructions.
  • Update and Maintain the Bills Of Materials (BOM)
  • Prepare BOM data in order to transfer it to SAP system
  • Assist in defining and improving process documentation
  • Observes and records employees operating equipment or performing tasks to determine time involved and performance level or proficiency.
  • Maintains process documentation, electronic record systems resulting from time study related activities.
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineers in product and process design and implementation
  • Required Qualifications
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
  • Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy, ability to multi-task and team oriented
  • Ability to fully comprehend new processes quickly
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (speaking and written) preferred
  • Experience working with engineering design programs; Solidworks & MS AutoCAD preferred
