Real Monitoring
Monitor and provide care using native equipment. HAL supports real ECG monitors, capnometers, oximeters, BP cuffs, and defibrillators, just like a real patient.
s3201
Wireless and Tetherless
HAL’s tetherless and wireless design allows for point-of-injury care, transport, and patient handoff training. HAL is self-contained, quiet, and fully operational on battery power for up to 10 hours.
True-to-life anatomy and physiology.
Trauma HAL features anatomically accurate landmarks and proportions, and a host of programmable vital signs to facilitate the development of skills transferable to real situations.
Train using real patient monitors and sensors.
Monitor and provide care using native equipment. HAL supports real ECG monitors, capnometers, oximeters, BP cuffs, and defibrillators, just like a real patient.
Deliver effective wound care and trauma management training.
BLEEDSMART™ technology simulates realistic bleeding consistent with heart rate and blood pressure. Axilla and groin wounds respond to applied pressure, packing, and wound dressing. Trauma limbs stop bleeding when a tourniquet is properly applied.

Trauma Simulator
Tested in hot, cold, wet, and dry environments, Trauma HAL’s realistic physiology and durability help narrow the gap between training and real combat care. With Trauma Hal, participants can rehearse the assessment, stabilization, and teamwork skills vital for successful care during battle.
Trauma HAL® is based upon the proven technology found in the HAL® 3000 which was independently tested and approved. MIL-STD tests included vibration, EMI testing for avionics, high and low temperatures, humidity, rapid decompression at 45000 feet, explosive atmospheres, and flight-testing in fixed- and rotary-winged craft.
Ruggedized limbs and water resistance permit realistic extraction and CBRNe decontamination drills.
Rehearse wound care and tourniquet placement with quadruple amputee configuration.
